My own artistic practice is rooted in process and repetition, engaging and connecting with the world around me. There are always rhythms, surfaces and patterns to be explored and this process keeps me connected to the world around me and boosts my wellbeing.

2022/2023
This body of work explores the endless movement of tides and the patterns they create. They represent layers of time and memories and encourage you to consider your connection to time and your place within the world.
2023
This body of work explores man made surfaces, particularly those on the ground beneath our feet in places of change and construction. We live in an ever changing built environment and these images are a reminder of that. Our memories of place are therefore really important because the physical world can and will change.
The images are built up using layers of acrylic paint using a variety of painting and printing techniques. The surfaces created have also been used to collage quotes by notable Mancunians, reconstructing the surface through the words that are woven through our history.
